Great choice. I'll give you some valuable information on 261000000, so get your mesos ready, and let me know when you are.

Long ago, after the Black Magician disappeared from Ossyria, a group of alchemists got together and formed 261000000. The motto of the town is "Ultimate knowledge is only an experiement away."

Here... right here...!

That's the right decision. Come back to me when you are ready to make the deal. I don't care which jewel it is, just get me 2 jewel ores that'll make me some money. It's not that hard, is it? That should be enough for me to help you join the Zenumists...

In order to join Alcadno, you'll have to compile a report of all the experiments you've conducted, and hand them to the leader of Alcadno Society, 2111001. Of course, the test doesn't end there... but I'll tell you the rest after you give me the ores.

Take this to the Zenumist Society and drop it in on the blue alchemy pillar in front of 2111000, and something will be made in front of your eyes. Don't worry about what's going to happen afterwards. Just show it to the leader, and he'll definitely let you in as a Zenumist.

Alchemy... The union between magic and science isn't just a scholastic union. It's uncharted territory, so discovery is important. Your studies will definitely affect the whole continent in one way or the other. Think about the Flying Ship. The inventions made by the alchemists enrich the lives of everyone in this world.

Okay, then remember these three words. Lidium, Grendel the Really Old, and Alcaster. The questions Maed will ask you are related to these, so... make sure to remember these three words IN ORDER.

As a member of Alcadno, if you want to work with other members, it's imperative that you don the Alcadno Cape. Alcadno Cape is the best way to let everyone know of your allegiance.

Wow, really? Then please get me 5 4010004 and 50 4000352s, which will be used to refine 4011004. I got to be honest with you, I made a mistake a while back making a core, and rendered 4011004 useless... hmm, keep this on the hush hush.

4011004 is a mineral that is always used in alchemy. It is a required item if we want to have the power of magic laden into a special item. It's basic alchemy. Never forget that, rook.

Hmm. I was just kidding about the finger. You're not helping so you can save your finger, right? There's no way I would use a finger as a main ingredient. Seriously.

4031694 is like the ultimate form of life. By studying this, I'll be able to make medicines that are more potent and effective than others...

You may be a rook, but you know the basics, right? That Zenumist and Alcadno aren't really friendly. That's why... I was wondering if we can do something that will really irk them. Hahaha... sounds like fun, no?

Oh no! Really? Then go there and defeat 80 5110301. It's hard to find someone that strong in 261000000k, so I am excited to see what you can do. I'll be here waiting...

I am very excited to meet an individual as powerful as you... please come back later. I may have something else in store for you.

...Really? You're going to do it? I wasn't really expecting you to say yes, but... this is great. Then... I suggest you make your way to 261020700 of Alcadno. At this time, there should be no one inside the lab, and the lights should be out. You need to carefully get there through portals, okay? Once you get there, you'll need to search through the dark lab until you find the Secret Document.

What's That Incident? Well, I don't think the president of our society wants to discuss this. He knows what happened, and yet he wants to keep it a secret... but I disagree. I believe that all alchemists of Magatia have a right to know the truth... the truth about That Incident...

Hahaha...(smile) Good, then I want you to go to 261020200. On top of the desk lies some pills that I have recently concocted, so take it... Oh, and since I am eager to see the effects of it, I want you to take it, and then come back to me. You must take the pills first, and then come back.

Then before starting this, I'd like to see what you are capable of. I'll be testing your ability to handle tough assignments. The test is simple, actually. Head off to the Closed Lab and rein in the dangerous 6110300s.

As a proud alchemist of Alcadno, I want you to do something for Alcadno. It's not going to be easy, but... what you'll need to do is eliminate 100 7110301. Zenumists secretly attack us in the middle of the night with them, so... by destroying them, it'll really help Alcadno out.

Sniff sniff... Thank you so much. I am so glad to have met such a helpful young warrior. I'd appreciate it if you can eliminate 200 6110301s. It shouldn't be too hard. What? It's easy? I knew you'd say that.

Hmm? The alchemist that was here before? Ahh... well, there was this fella that conducted experiments here not too long ago. He was so determined and focused in his work that I was too intimidated to talk to him. I wondered why he'd work on the Life Alchemy with such disdain for safety...

I do believe that someone like you, who never knew about the missing alchemist, can provide a fresh eye to this investigation and find something we may have missed...

Apparently, just before he went missing, 2111002 had been in close contact with a suspicious character. Have you heard of 2111007? ...he's a man with a very questionable reputation. Regardless, I also hear that he is very trustworthy in business deals, so I think he'll be good. You may get some information on 2111002 through him...

Tsk tsk... This is definitely an unexpected source of income. This is good! Now, as promised, I'll give you the information on 2111002, as long as you're ready to pay me. Come see me when you're ready.

For someone who chose not to contact anyone around him... he had one person, a friend who he constantly talked to all the time. Do you want to know who? It's 2040050... Have you ever heard of him?

I believe the key to the place where the Secret Notes may be is made out of silver. 2111002 was an expert at putting magic into a layer of silver, making it react to other types of magic. If there's anything silver, how about using it to try opening the door?

Zenumist and Alcadno. They are both hiding the truth behind what happened with 2111002. Those two can't stand one another, and yet they cooperate on this. They are hiding the truth from all of us, and I can't trust the ones that do that.

There's one thing, actually... that I did not notify the president of the society of. I didn't think there was much to investigate, anyway, but... the thing is, inside 2111002's home, if you place the handle in a certain direction, you'll be able to enter the underground study. It's a place only 2111002 and I know of.

(It may have looked like a regular book, but when I opened it, the center of the paper that made up the books had a circular hole. It looks like if I place a round, flat object inside, then it'll work pretty well... and I can think of an item that may fit in this.)

Here, please take the 4031744. I sincerely hope this will lead us to where 2111002 is...

(After carefully removing the note, I closed the book. Once closed, it looked just like any other book.)

The person who can uncover the hidden notes is 2020005. He was the 3rd president of the Alchemy Society, so I am pretty sure he knows a way to extract the hidden message from this note.

I want you to bring me 4031737. 4031737 contains a mysterious power that reveals the truth from anything, but it's very difficult to extract blood from that angry, formidable monster.

(Without any hesitation, 2020005 poured 4031737 all over 4161031.)

Once you find out the whole truth on this matter, please come back and see me.

Good. I want you to take this Magic Rock with you. This should be one of the three Magic Rocks that have been extracted from the Magic Pentagram made by the Black Magician. I want you to find the other two and place them in the Magic Pentagram.

Hmm...I don't know. I've spent hundreds of years living here, but I still can't make the decision on what to do with 261000000...

261000000 is a town that was established over a lab of the Black Magician, who brought darkness to the whole continent of Ossyria. I am not saying it's literally built over the lab. I'm saying that all alchemy-related studies in 261000000 are... based on the studies of the Black Magician.

I'll entrust you to take 4161033. Whether you decide to reveal the grim truth behind this saga... or keep it a secret for the sake of peace... I don't care which path you choose. It's your call.

I am glad you understand... now I want you to hand me that 4161034 of yours. We will end this saga once and for all by destroying that note beyond recognition.

That cape is awarded to you, not only for what you have done, but also for what you will be doing down the road. I don't need to explain to you... what should be done, right? Never, ever say a word about De Lang's Notes to others.

...then I want you to hand me 1102136 and 4161033. As long as the book is still out, there's still a chance of the truth being released to the public. By incinerating the book, we're going to burn the truth in flames... even if that means not doing the right thing.

I was hoping for someone to prove 2111002's innocence. Once that person came forward, however, I have managed to hide the truth again... isn't that just incomprehensible? I don't know how I am going to live down with this for the rest of my life... can you handle it?

Why do you look so sad, though? Was 2111002... really the guilty one? It's okay if he is, I just want to find out the truth, so please tell me what really happened.

I am almost afraid to open this book. Part of me is afraid to find out if he's truly the guilty one... and part of me still wants to defend him nonetheless... but whatever the truth is, I am ready to accept it.

I will be here.

I will accept your promise. Please hold on. This book is heavily scented with alchemy spells, so it shouldn't take too long to locate it...

If the one 2111003 holds on to is... really that, then... it's not a mechanical doll with no recollection of the past, but...

Then take this and go see 2111001 of Alcadno Society to have it checked out for the list of components in this. He will definitely know whether the medicine is good for 2111005 or not. I am not sure if it really is for 2111005 or not, but... if it does help her regain health, then I will be elated.

If 2111002's goal was to live an eternal life, then maybe he succeeded in doing that, even if that meant completely wiping out his memories...

So if I become healthier, that means I can concentrate more on my studies and experiments, right? This is really making me happy now. I'll study even more now so that one day, p2111003 will live the life of a human being!

I will wait for you here.
