AP means ABILITY POINT. Now, press S. You will see all the stats you have. AP is on the left bottom side. If you haven't invested AP yet, your AP is still 5. Where can you use AP?

AP is used to improve your stats. When you invest AP into STR, your power will be enhanced; if into INT, intelligence; if into DEX, agility; if LUK, luck. You can increase HP or MP if you want. AP is worthy as it can be used many different ways. Every class has one primary stat and one secondary stat. For Warriors, it's STR and DEX; for Magicians, it's INT and LUK; if you're a Bowman then you'll need DEX and STR, while Thieves use LUK and DEX.

If you want to be a stronger adventurer, you have to advance your job. You can advance your job in Victoria Island, not in Maple Island. You can choose one among Warrior, Magician, Bowman, Thief.

But there's some condition to change your job. Warriors, Bowmen, and Thieves should be at least level 10. Magicians should be at least level 8. Other than level, you need to be ready to have a job. What does that mean? Where you placed your AP will help determine what path you take, that's why it's very important.

Warriors should have at least 35 STR and above, Magicians will need 20 INT and above, Bowman must have 25 DEX and above, and Thief also need 25 DEX and above Under this condition, you are qualified to have a job.

You can't advance your job when you're short of either level and/or stat. Although you're a beginner, you have to consider investing AP if you want to have a job. Never ever forget!
